Kumi Koda (Koda Kumi, born Kumiko K?da (Koda Kumiko) on November 13, 1982) is a Japanese pop singer from Kyoto who debuted in 2000 with Take Back.

Many people compare Kumi Koda with Japan Diva Ayumi Hamasaki. However, Kumi Koda is still a new comer. But I like Kumi Koda face and voice.

Kumi Koda is the older sister of pop singer Misono. Kumi Koda got her late popularity in 2005 after the release of Secret and Butterfly. Later that year she became one of the best-selling artists of 2005 with the success of Best ~first things~.
